I would really like to purchase a tension scale to measure large forces (1000N-5000N), but everything I seem to find searching online seems to be calibrated in pounds (not ideal) and expensive. Does anyone have any ideas for where to find tension scales that might be cheaper and calibrated in Newtons?

Boy, that's a lot of force...the best I could come up with is: McMaster-Carr - Single Revolution Cast Iron Scale up to 400lbs, but it's not calibrated in Newtons either. |
